Trudy runs into work, screaming because she’s so ecstatic that she has won the lotto, she screams at Dangle and says she doesn’t have to sit here and listen to him anymore because she’s a millionare. Dangle then holds up a newspaper which says “Lotto Card Misprint”, then Junior reads the lotto number to Terry and she just plays it off like nothing happened. Garcia and Junior, along with many other cops from different counties go down to the border to build a wall to stop illegals from getting through called “Good fences make good neighbors” program. Starting off, Garcia comes into the morning briefing meeting wearing a shirt that says “SPEAK ENGLISH” and him and Junior explain to the other sheriffs how they’re going to do this. Jones doesn’t agree with their plan and says it’s wrong, Trudy mocks Jones and Martin Luther King Jr. saying “I have a dream, I gots a dream…we know.” At the boarder, all the sheriffs put up a flag and they forget some of the words to the Pledge of Allegiance. The men are all complaining how it’s too hot, Junior says “It never was this hot until damn Al Gore.” Dangle is riding his bike around and stops at a stand with a young oriental girl selling lemonade, doesn’t have enough money and asks the girl for a freebie she repeatedly says no, Jim keeps asking and the girl gets mad, squirts him in the eye with a lemon and throws his bike into the street, causing a truck to run it over. Trudy goes undercover as a “young schoolgirl” as a sting to catch men groping young girls on the public bus. Let’s just say, it doesn’t work out, she ends up annoying people instead. At the end, the sheriffs building the wall realize they did it on the wrong side. Gotta love this show.

Main Characters:
Lieutenant Jim Dangle – played by Thomas Lennon.
Alright so Dangle pretty much runs the show, he’s in charge of all the other officers in the Reno Sheriff Department. He’s an openly gay character on the show and you can always find him wearing his trademark shorts as part of his uniform for work. His reasoning for the “short shorts” is that he “has to be able to move fast like a cheetah on the streets”, as he’s said. He’s a really funny guy and probably my favorite character overall.
Deputy Trudy Wiegel – played by Kerri Kenny-Silver
Hmm, what to say about Trudy. First off, she’s probably the most insane one on the show. She is beyond funny. She has an extreme love for cats and is pretty much obsessed with Lieutenant Jim Dangle. She’s emotionally unstable and has night terrors. She says the most random things ever all the time. Trudy is the weirdest one of all, but I think without her, the show wouldn’t be quite as funny.
Deputy S. Jones- played by Cedric Yarbrough
I don’t think there’s even a word to describe him. Well… let’s just say he’s a ladies man. Dangle referred to him as a “big, hardworking, robust, sort of mocha-ish person.”
Deputy James Garcia – played by Carlos Alazraqui
This guy makes me laugh for hours, no joke. He usually always uses his nightstick to beat suspects. He’s an angry Mexican-American and is also known to be racist and sexist. Garcia even arrests his own friend Lt. Jim Dangle and his boyfriend when they’re getting married telling them that gay marriage is illegal in Nevada. He’s so weird, in that strangely awesome kind of way.
Deputy Clementine Johnson – played by Wendi McLendon-Covey
Yeah, so Clemmie is legitly the queen of blonde moments. She’s funny, her mom is a prostitute..guess that is part of the reason for Clementine’s promiscuous behavior most of the time, cause it’s in the family. She’s totally cool. Oh, and she wants Marijuana to be legalized. Talk about crazy for a cop.
Deputy Raineesha Williams – played by Niecy Nash
Probably the funniest African American woman character I’ve ever seen. She’s so obnoxious, but that’s what makes her hilarious. She yells all the time. She has three kids, all having different dads. Her and Deputy Jones often hook up.
Deputy Travis Junior – Robert Ben Garant
Hahaha, sooo.. he wears his bullet proof vest OVER his shirt and is always wearing aviator sunglasses. He’s the cousin of Deputy Kimball. He loves beer and of course, his moustache. He’s nice like fried rice maaan.
Deputy Cherisha Kimaball – played by Mary Birdsong
I don’t really have much to say about her. She has times when she’s really funny, but I don’t really care for her much. She doesn’t seem to have much of a personality. Anyways, all her co-workers believe she’s a lesbian, but she always denies it. Even her cousin Deputy Junior thinks she is one too so he pretends to get shot and while Kimball thinks he’s dying, she finally reveals to Junior that she has fantasies about women all the time. Junior planned it all, just so he could get the truth out of her.

Ayeeeeee, welcome to my blog. I wish there was something less cliche to say, but I can’t really think of much. I’m new to this whole blog thing. Anyways, here I will be discussing episodes of the Comedy Central show Reno 911 every week. If you’ve never seen the show, here’s what it’s mainly about.. it’s a satire based on the FOX show Cops and in it the sheriffs are constantly doing and saying stupid things, cursing, dealing with some pretty weird people, making mistakes, and all in all, they have no idea what they’re doing; which of course makes it funny (well, I don’t know about you, but for me it does). Every week, I’ll post a different topic about the show. For example, one week I’ll talk about the actors on the show, the next I’ll just summarize what happened in a certain episode, what I liked about it, what I didn’t, and I’ll also talk about the shows related to this one.
